Hello everyone!
I am Mathilde, a first year student in Arts and Sciences, doing Economics, Mathematics and Engineering, running to be treasurer at Engineers without borders.
I am standing as a treasurer because I believe in the values that bring the EWB society together such as the possibility of change through innovation and the sustainability. This is why I want to manage the society's finance to continue its thrivingness and to strengthen its financial management.
Next year, in order to achieve these goals, I will work on three facets:
- Consolidation: making sure that all financial records are accurate and that the society operates within its budget. I believe that managing its finance effectively is crucial to maximizing the impact of the society's activities on students this year and for the next years.
- Transparency and Communication: ensuring that the committee members have access to information about the financial position and being open to suggestions and improvements.
- Connection: building relationships with partners such as the EWB of University of London or stakeholders to maximize the financial resources and have a greater impact across various actors.
