To be or not to be: that is the question.

To me, Drama Society is about giving students the power and voice to make something truly inspiring. As an English student in my ‘first flush of enthusiasm’, I am standing with the hope that I could use this role to inspire and encourage as many students as possible to get involved and start writing!

The Writers Festival this year was spectacular, quirky, and filled with innovative potential. With this role, I hope that I could work with other communities that I have been a part of such as: Writers Society, Dance Society and Film Society to get involved, encouraging interaction between UCL’s  creative spheres.

As a #theatrekid, I have taken part in just about every aspect of the theatrical world that there is. I have explored roles of production and set design to those of writer and director. This has given me a sound understanding of every aspect of production, and I hope that I could use my knowledge in this field to support others and organise exciting events.

I am also standing for the chance to give students unique opportunities. As an assistant editor for Education Choices Magazine, I frequently meet with and contact a number of up-and-coming writers and members of the creative industry. With this role, I would be able to encourage these people to come to UCL to give talks for the aspiring and talented writers here!

¡Viva Drama Society!
