In the time this young society was founded to now, I have learnt much about design thinking and its applications to problem and market validation. Unlike other similar societies, UCL Design Thinking Society offers a work experience programme. Students stand to gain invaluable work experience working for a startup, and receive mentoring from experienced mentors. My short work stint with Auditologi and LocalMeal has shown me the potential a fully running work programme has in empowering students. I believe that the members of UCL Design Thinking Society will stand to greatly benefit from a robust and diverse work experience programme.

As a project coordinator, I will collaborate with startups to offer termly/long term work experience programmes that students can apply for. Having been selected to be part of the Kickstart Incubator Programme and being immersed in the UK and university startup ecosystem, I believe that I am best positioned to be able to tap into the ecosystem to link students and startups together. I look torward to working with you as a project coordinator!
