The key to connecting with your community is encouraging as many people as possible to participate in these services. I believe that the only way to create changes in society is to work together since nothing gets done by one person alone. It is a valuable experience that I have always found extremely rewarding. After enrolling in cancer-related courses, I was allowed to work with different lab professionals. I was part of a team that encouraged me to form meaningful relationships and improve my social interactions as a result of this experience. I was able to push those boundaries to communicate and cooperate with others more effectively when working in a diverse environment. For me, volunteering is a field that will encourage you to show your willingness to accept and face new challenges.
