Board Games Society: Vice President

Hello Board Games Society! I am Anders, and you may have seen me at some Board Games Events this year on Fridays or at Twilight Imperium sessions.

Some of my aims as Vice President are as follows:

1. Organise, as is typical, our weekly Board Games sessions, as well as the more intermittent side events, such as Twilight Imperium.

2.  Collect and distribute some digital how-to-play resources (such as the instructional videos on Secret Hitler) for our most popular games, so newer members can take a look at what might interest them and come ready to dive in on Fridays.

3. Assist in facilitating usual Board Games events and the activities of the president whenever needed.

Lastly, as you might see in my candidate photo, I've put myself forward on the shoulders of Mr Monopoly himself (a potentially controversial move). While it is mostly just a trivially funny picture, I thought I would close my motivating statement with a comparison of myself and Mr Monopoly.

Important ways in which Mr Monopoly and I are alike: capable of iconically representing board games, bringing people together, and creating plenty and abundance.
Important ways in which Mr Monopoly and I differ: net worth, probability of ruining friendships, and the likelihood of endorsing college labour.
