Boss Tangtokit

Hey! My name is Boss and I am a first-year student. I have had the pleasure of getting to meet some of you either through the group chat or on the court. I am a person who is comfortable communicating with new people like members of society. I’m also quite outspoken on anything I don’t think is quite right so I’m not one to shy away from a complicated conversation if it needs to be had!

My main objective as a vice president would be to enhance communication, and alignment between staff and students as well as organize social events outside of the court as well. Also, I have the experience of being a class rep and leading group projects, I have become accustomed to presenting myself to the members and am fully aware of the work required to ensure effective communication and delivery.

I have learnt from experience that being a president is no easy work and keeping the society on its feet is a team effort (Working with the Society's Welfare Officer and the Treasure and you!). As someone who plays basketball and hit the gym (which may seem like not involving a team), I understand how working in a team can help increase motivation and enthusiasm as well as lift each other up.

Whether I become a vice president or not, I look forward to a fun and productive sessions at UCL and I thank you in advance for your support and consideration
