Having been an active member of the badminton club for a year, I realised that the social sessions organised by the club weekly is not only a place for students to do sports, it also facilitates students to socialise and expand their social circle. If I ever have the pleasure to be elected as the social secretary, I would organise more social events for our club members, providing them with more opportunities to meet and make new friends outside the badminton court setting.

As the team captain of the baseball club for the past year, I have learnt the importance of teamwork. If I am lucky enough to be elected as the social secretary, I promise to work closely with my fellow committee members and act as a bridge to aid communication between the club members and the committee. This will definitely ensure a better experience for both parties.

If I am elected as the social secretary of the badminton club, I promise to be an active and humble listener for the club members, knowing what their expectations and opinions are, and voice them out to the other committee members. I also promise to try my best to organise social events that will meet the expectations of both parties, allowing club members to make the best out of their experience in the badminton club.

With the abovementioned experiences I had in the past, I believe I am capable of taking up the role as the social secretary of the badminton club.
