Nicole Jurjew

Hey all! My name is Nicole and I am a 2nd year PhD student for Medical Imaging Physics at UCL. I've been a member of the Austrian society for 2 years now and I've made great connections and friendships that have made my life in London as fun as it is!

As an Austrian at UCL I know it's great to feel at home amongst other Austrians who often had similar experiences to my own getting accustomed to life in London. Mingling with non-Austrian members is just as important in order to broaden our horizon and enable vital cultural exchange.
By being a student representative for many years I was able to strengthen my organizational skills. I would love to use them to organize socials within and beyond the UCL Austrian society as its president. I'm very communicative and sociable and at this point I feel like a little flexing won't hurt: I'm famous for my baking skills among friends :)

Let's make friends and create networks over Gluehwein, Sachertorte and Walzer to make sure our time at UCL becomes unforgettable!
