Rujuta Kulkarni

Hi everyone, I’m Rujuta, a second-year medical student, and I’m excited to be running for TEDxUCL Events Officer!

What really draws me to TEDx is the opportunity to bring together people from different ideas, interests and experiences through engaging talks, discussions and events. I love the idea of creating a space where we can all share perspectives, learn from one another and feel inspired by new ideas.

I’d love to help continue growing TEDxUCL by organising events that are welcoming, interactive and enjoyable for everyone. I want to build on the amazing work already done through regular discussion-based socials, speaker events and the annual TEDxUCL conference, while also introducing some fresh ideas for the coming year!

I’d especially love to help expand networking opportunities so attendees can connect with speakers and each other, and collaborate with other UCL societies to explore a huge range of topics - from medicine and AI to journalism, politics and the arts.

More than anything, I want TEDxUCL to help people share ideas, connect and make friends. I’d love to help shape that experience over the next year, and so I hope I can have your vote!
