Rugby Club (Men's): Development Secretary

I love the club and I want to develop it further. 

SINce joININg the Klub I have seen firsthand just how important the community is to our flyINg success. This camaraderie between all members: sons, fathers, and grandfathers alike, is the very sticky glue that bINds the Klub. It would be a shame for this bond to weaken after graduating. Whilst we have been blessed with the occasional alumni appearance this year, I want to ensure these are more frequent and ultimately develop a Klub network that outlasts us - once a klubman, always a klubman (except P*tr*n*s). Whether this be by arranging more Saracens-esque events, alumni INvolvement IN Wednesday socials, or even promoting some form of mentorship programme, I believe that buildINg a solid alumni network is integral to the expansion and growth of the Klub. What greater pleasure could there be than spending a Wednesday evenINg blackout in Regent’s than at home with your wife and kids! 

This would be just the start of plans for developing the Klub, and I hope that changes like these yield real positive results for everyone. I want to reinforce the status of the Klub as much more than just a sports society, but as a community. As a certain charity sec’s family member probably once said, “there’s no better pleasure IN life than getting weird with a group of boys half your age”.
