Quant Society: President

I’m running for President of the Quant Society because I want to help grow the society into a more active and career-focused community where everyone has the chance to get involved, regardless of experience level. With my background in coding and algorithmic trading, as well as studying Maths with Economics, I want to organise practical workshops covering topics like Python, quantitative finance, and trading strategies to help members build real technical skills. I also want to strengthen the society’s connections with firms and bring in more external opportunities, including competitions such as the QRT Quantitative Research Challenge and other industry-sponsored events. Alongside this, I aim to create more committee and project roles within the society so more students can contribute, gain experience, and feel part of the community.
