Paula Sola Farrus

Hi!! I’m Paula, a Biomed first year, and I’ve been part of the 1st violins section since September 2025. As a shy-ish fresher I found our current managers and the team as a whole to be super inclusive, very successfully integrating novices into the existing society. I’d love to build on this for new 2026 arrivals, making all aspects of orchestra life positive from rehearsals to karaoke to concert black.

Our society not only orchestrates music but logistics too and I would love to be a part of this ‘behind the scenes’ next year. I’m dedicated and hard working, and will collaborate with the other roles to organise venues, programmes, socials and much more. I feel privileged to be part of string orchestra and hope I can give back.

Eleonore Huez

Hello everyone, my name is Éléonore and I am running for String Orchestra Manager !

As a cello player, String Orchestra has been an integral part of my student experience so far. Meeting my friends every Friday, playing such fun and stimulating repertoire, munching on biscuits at break time and hanging out at the pub after rehearsal: these are some of my best memories at UCL. That's why I want to get involved so that I can share my love for Strings.

As String Orchestra Manager, I will make sure each rehearsal runs smoothly so that we can work towards putting together amazing concerts, in a welcoming, fun and vibrant atmosphere. With me, String Orchestra will continue to grow and flourish!
If you love this ensemble and want to see it in good hands next year, vote for me ! I will not let you down ;)

Thank you all and see you again soon,

Best musical wishes, Éléonore
