Hey everyone!

You may recognise me from being an Events Officer last term, but for those who don't, I'm Sara and I'm running again with the goal of creating even more opportunities for ADM members to engage, connect, and grow both academically and professionally. 

One of the key events I ran this year was the GeoGuessr tournament, which showed me how people enjoy these interactive and social experiences. I’d love to continue creating similar events while ensuring everything we run is inclusive, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone.

Given there will be many Events Officers this year, I believe we can achieve much more by working together and sharing ideas, bringing a wider variety of events to ADM. 

Some events I’d love to introduce include:

• Campus Scavenger Hunt — solve maths-themed puzzles hidden around the UCL campus.
• Murder Mystery Night — uncover clues hidden in quantitative riddles to solve a “whodunnit."
• Debate Night — discussing thought-provoking topics such as “This House Believes randomness doesn’t exist and is a consequence of our limited knowledge.”
• Games Night — featuring themed trivia quizzes, tournaments, and board games.
• Panel Discussions — involving lecturers, alumni, and industry experts followed by informal networking and Q&A sessions.
• Inter-Society Events — collaborating with other societies to host memorable activities.
