Introverts Society: Events Officer

Hi, I’m Audrey, and I'm standing for events officer for Introverts Society! As an introvert myself, I've always found it intimidating to branch out and meet new people, so I really appreciate the opportunities that Introverts Society has given me to break out of my shell and try new experiences. I'd love the opportunity to be able to give back to the community as a result.

As events officer, I plan to do this by planning and organising more fun, engaging and accessible events, and to help create a comfortable, introvert friendly environment for everyone - so that we can all explore new interests and make new friends together. Some ideas I have so far are an escape room, a book club, and a crafting event. However, my main goal is to create events that you want to attend, so I plan to place emphasis on helping bring your ideas to life. In addition, as the designated planner for my friend groups' excursions, I believe I have the necessary skills required for this role :)
