Naina Prasad

Hey everyone, I’m Naina, and I’d love to run to be your IDS Marketing Officer! Dance has always been a huge part of my life as I am classically trained in Bharatanatyam, so being part of IDS these past 2 years has been an amazing way for me to continue doing what I love in such a welcoming and enjoyable environment.

The strong sense of community within IDS has made me feel comfortable in experimenting with new styles allowing me to grow and improve as a dancer. For example participating in Naach 2024 gave me the opportunity to meet new friends and gain inspiration from them. I would love to make meaningful contributions to IDS as Marketing Officer, to support the continuation of the society as it has supported me.

I believe I have the skills and experience for this position as I am incredibly organised and always meet deadlines given to me as I am used to balancing various responsibilities and managing my time between them. I am a quick learner and will be able to pick up how to use the particular software easily. I have a good understanding of the IDS branding and marketing with the weekly videos that are posted and would like to ensure this continues smoothly next year.

IDS has allowed me to develop considerably as a dancer and I have met the most amazing people. I would love to play a more active role within the society  and be involved in its’ growth, outreach and success. It would therefore be a privilege to take on the role of Marketing Officer. Thank you!
