Horse Riding Club: Treasurer

My main priority is to make riding as accessible as possible for all members. I understand that equestrian sport can often feel financially challenging, particularly for students, and I want to work towards reducing barriers wherever we can. This includes improving budgeting, seeking sponsorship opportunities, organising effective fundraising initiatives, and ensuring club finances are managed transparently and responsibly.

At the same time, I want to help build long-term financial stability for the club, allowing us to continue growing while supporting both competitive riders and complete beginners. A well-managed budget means more opportunities for lessons, competitions, socials, and events that everyone can enjoy.

Beyond finances, I want to help maintain the welcoming, fun, and supportive atmosphere that makes this club special. University sport should be both enjoyable and rewarding, and I believe the best societies are those that balance ambition with community.

With my previous leadership experience, understanding of the club, and academic background in management, I’m confident I can bring organisation, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to the role of Treasurer.
