I am standing for Football Treasurer because I want to help keep the club organised, financially stable, and able to give members the best possible experience. Football is one of the biggest parts of university life for many people, and I think good financial management is what allows the club to run smoothly, whether that means organising matches, socials, equipment, transport, or future events.

As Treasurer, I would focus on being reliable, transparent, and organised with the club’s money. I understand that the role is not just about collecting payments, but about planning ahead, budgeting properly, and making sure money is spent in a way that benefits the whole club. I would aim to keep finances clear and easy to understand, so members know where their money is going and the committee can make better decisions.

I also want to make sure the club remains accessible. Football should be something people can enjoy without unnecessary financial barriers, so I would look for ways to keep costs fair while still improving what the club offers. This could include better budgeting for kits, socials, tournaments, transport, and sponsorship opportunities.

Ultimately, I am standing because I care about the club and want to contribute in a role that requires trust, consistency, and responsibility. I would bring organisation, commitment, and a practical approach to make sure the football club is run properly both on and off the pitch.
