I’m running for Head of Events because I want to contribute to the opportunities offered to EISPS students and to other UCL students involved in the society. My goal is not only to organise engaging events, but also to help the society grow and strengthen its presence on campus.
I am eager to maintain and expand events, such as embassy visits, social activities, panel discussions, and increasing collaborations with other societies. The events organised by the European and International Social and Political Studies society played a huge role in shaping my first year at UCL, and I will create experiences that will do the same for future first years and returning students.
EISPS brings together students with a wide range of interests, and I want our events to reflect that diversity through discussions and activities that connect all of our specialisms, while maintaining our shared interest in diplomacy and international affairs.
As Head of Events, I would not only focus on creating impactful events, but also on the connections and career opportunities that we can gain through them. I look forward to using the organisational and planning skills I gained from organising events for international students in my hometown to deliver meaningful events for EISPS members.
