I’m standing for Events Coordinator because I genuinely love bringing people together.
I’m not new to this kind of role. As Head Girl at my secondary school, I was responsible for coordinating guest speakers, running assemblies, and keeping everything on track from start to finish. I learned pretty quickly that good events take planning, communication, and knowing. I want to build a program that balances academic and career-focused events — like speaker panels and professional development sessions — with socials that actually bring people together and help members build real friendships and networks. I’m organised, enthusiastic, and I genuinely care about making this society a place people want to be part of. I’d love the chance to make that happen — and I hope I can count on your vote!
