Drama Society: Diversity and Inclusion Officer

Since joining UCL this year, Drama Society has helped me out in so many ways. I feel I belong now, I feel included and I can safely say that I've grown in confidence since joining in September. Now its my turn to do the same for other people and I believe being Diversity and Inclusion Officer will allow me to do just that. My first ever show with UCL was part of Reclamation and it was Reclamation that allowed me to meet so many amazing people, all of whom I consider friends :) and, as Freshers Rep, my job has been to help encourage new students to feel included and seen by the society. As D&I Officer I can continue this work and hopefully do an even better job with more confidence now. I want everyone to know that they belong here at Drama Society just like I do and It would be an absolute honour if I could help someone who was just like me in September find their place too.
