What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I understand the disabled student experience here  at UCL. I am a blind Fine Art student, disability advocate and guide dog owner. I also have experience in being a mentor, public speaker, EDI representative, charity trustee and currently studying an access consultancy course. I understand barriers around accessibility, accommodation and isolation. I would bring a listening ear, a proactive attitude and a commitment to making every disabled student feel heard and empowered.

Listening, Advocating & Improving
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

If elected, my hope is to make UCL more accessible and inclusive for disabled students. I want to build a stronger community where people feel welcome, supported and less alone. This includes creating engaging activities, helping students access useful resources, and being someone they feel comfortable speaking to. Disabled students’ voices deserve to be heard, taken seriously and turned into real action.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

Students should vote for me because I understand the challenges disabled students face at UCL and navigate them myself every day. I am relatable, approachable, a good listener and proactive. Through advocacy, mentoring, EDI work and public speaking, I have learnt how to turn words into action. I will listen, advocate and work to make accessibility and inclusion standard at UCL, so no student is left behind.
