I'm standing for Treasurer because I genuinely love what the Diplomacy Society stands for and I want to be part of making it even better. As someone studying International Social and Political Science at UCL, and aspires to go into diplomacy this society is everything I am passionate about, and I'd love to contribute beyond just attending events. During the summer of 2025, I spent time as a Marketing Intern at a medical equipment firm and that showed me how much the behind-the-scenes work matters, keeping things organised, well-planned, and financially sound is what allows the exciting stuff to actually happen. I have also organised fundraisers for various social causes. I'm someone who takes responsibility seriously, and actually enjoys the organisational side of things.

As Treasurer, I'd bring that same energy to making sure the society has the resources it needs to keep doing what it does best whether that's bringing in great speakers, running events, or growing our presence on campus. I'm excited, I'm committed, and I'm ready to get stuck in.
