Election post
Hi! I’m Kush (BSc Information Management for Business), and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Welfare Officer of the UCL Consulting Society — to help create a more supportive, inclusive, and connected experience for every member of the society.
I believe that consulting is not just about professional growth, but also about building a community where students feel supported, motivated, and able to thrive. University can often feel competitive and overwhelming, especially when balancing academics, applications, networking, and career pressure. As Welfare Officer, I want to ensure that members feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their journey.
My goal is to create initiatives that genuinely improve member wellbeing and strengthen the society’s culture — from socials and wellbeing events to peer support, mentorship opportunities, and open conversations around stress, confidence, and work-life balance. I want to help make the society not only professionally valuable, but also a welcoming environment where people can make meaningful connections and enjoy being part of the community.
As someone who values collaboration, communication, and community-building, I’ll bring energy, empathy, and initiative to the role and work closely with the committee to make a positive impact across the society.
Your wellbeing, your community, your experience — Vote Kush for Welfare Officer!
