Evie Cater

Hi guys! Hopefully most of you know me but if not - I'm Evie and I am a first year PhD student. I'm running for president of climbing society this year which is a crazyyyy sentence to type out. I've been a part of the society for 3 years and it has by far been the highlight of my time here at UCL. I originally ran for social sec for next year as the majority of my time at climbing or UCLCMC events consists of chatting and hanging out with all you lovely people over actually climbing things. However, after finding out that there was no one elected as president I've decided to take the plunge and go for this instead (after a little push from my friends). I may not be the most qualified for this role if we judge by actual climbing ability alone but I'm hoping that my love for the amazing UCLCMC community more than makes up for that! I would honestly just really love for this society to be as wonderfully friendly and fun for the next gen of UCL climbers as it has been for me <3
