Hi y'all,

I'm Aryan, and I've been super lucky to have been your Treasurer this year!

I want to be Vice President of the Classics Society because I’m genuinely excited about what we can build next. This Society has so much potential, and I’m ready to help push it into a bigger, bolder, more dynamic year. Having been Treasurer, I’ve seen how much enthusiasm our members bring, and how much more we can unlock with the right leadership and momentum.

As VP, I want to help create a Society that feels alive: events that people look forward to, academic opportunities that spark real curiosity, and a community where everyone feels they belong. I’m energised by the chance to work closely with the President to deliver a programme that’s ambitious, well‑organised and full of variety—from talks and reading groups to socials, collaborations and new ideas we haven’t tried yet.

My experience as Lead Academic Rep means I know how to advocate, coordinate and get things done. I enjoy bringing people together, solving problems quickly and keeping things moving. Most of all, I care about Classics and the people who study it. Being VP would let me channel that energy into shaping a Society that’s vibrant, welcoming and genuinely exciting to be part of.
