Bhangra Society: Marketing Officer

After a 3 year long battle of being absolutely terrible at bhangra and generally quite discombobulated at dance, I finally managed to put on a decent performance (if I do say so myself), at Rangeela our UCL Indian Society annual showcase!!!!
Bhangra and dance can be so empowering when people are given the chance to learn without pressure or judgment. I would love to be part of the committee this year to help make bhangra truly accessible for everyone, regardless of ability, gender, or cultural background.
Bhangra is such a beautiful way to share Punjabi culture, bring people together, and build confidence. I want to showcase this rich historical and cultural background whilst making it fun :)))  

Marketing plays a huge role in spreading the message and encouraging more people to get involved.
