Automotive Society: Head of Socials

Hi, I’m Peter, a second year robotics and AI student, your current welfare secretary, and hopefully your new head of socials.

Over the last year I have really enjoyed the opportunity to take part in leading this great society and meeting so many amazing people over the last two years of membership. 

This year, I have directed events such as the race watch alongs, themed quizzes, movie nights, and the F1 arcade night. This year, I want to continue to give you all these opportunities as your new head of socials. I also want to be able to give you new and returning events alongside my fellow committee, including:

• Industry talks and events, bringing professionals from across the world of motorsport from journalists to engineers to give you open dialogue and a look into the world of racing.
• Society trips, both and out of London. From in person race days at iconic circuits like brands hatch, to London events such as f1 arcade.
• More of what you love. Bringing bigger and better quizzes and watch alongs, with a bit more notice before each one this time.

Being a member of committee has been a fantastic experience, and I hope to continue in this new role into the new year and get to keep seeing this society grow more and more.
