Managing extracurriculars on top of an already highly demanding law degree can be challenging. As welfare officer, I will work towards creating an environment within APAC LawSoc that is safe and stress-free for its members. I am a strong advocate for the importance of mental health and its impact on our productivity. Given the opportunity, I will serve the members of this society, providing assistance to ensure that they are seen and heard. Help me help you by electing me for welfare officer!
Having witnessed the APAC Law Society grow significantly over the past year, I am motivated to play a more active role in shaping and sustaining that momentum. From attending multiple APAC Law Society events to being a finalist in this year's commercial law competition, I have built a strong rapport with the society that I hope to develop as Welfare Officer. With strong personal ties to the APAC region, having lived in both Singapore and Hong Kong, and through my involvement in various legal organisations across these jurisdictions, I bring both cultural awareness and relevant experience to the position. I am particularly committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that bridges cultural and regional differences within the society. As Welfare Officer, I would aim to provide meaningful support to members navigating the pressures of legal applications, while also serving as a reliable and impartial mediator in resolving conflicts within the society. In doing so, I hope to strengthen both the wellbeing of individual members and the cohesion of the society as a whole.
