Wilderness Medicine Society: Welfare Officer

Hey! My name is Danilo and I am hoping to be part of the committee again! I have been the Welfare Officer this year and have loved being part of this cute society and I hope to help it grow next year! I want to help expand its outreach by collaborating with UCL departments and other societies, networks, universities and organisations, as this will also help members make new friends and connections and enjoy their time at university. As Welfare Officer, I will always be there for all of you and always try to help with any issues and signpost where I can. I will also do regular Welfare Checks and run Welfare Events (such as Tea and Cake Drop-ins, Kahoot Nights, Picnics, etc). My biggest aim is to ensure that the society makes members happy and enjoy their time at UCL, and my focus will be on creating opportunities for members to make friends. I have a lot of experience in running societies and I strongly believe that this will help me in my role.
