Jean Limjumroonrat

As Harrow’s Head Girl, House Captain, and Samaggi’s Assistant Secretary, I discovered my passion for leadership. These experiences taught me the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and decisiveness, traits I would bring to successfully lead our society.

Studying abroad can be challenging, but being part of the Thai Society this year really made my transition much smoother. I had the opportunity to participate in exciting events organized by the committee and received academic support from my Economics senior. This is why I want to ensure that every member feels as if our society is their second home, knowing they have a community to rely on both socially and academically.

As President, I am driven to create a strong, community-driven, and inspiring Thai Society. Together with my future committee, we will create opportunities for members to connect through engaging events and impactful initiatives. This includes continuing successful projects like the UCL benefit card, hosting events such as the Winter ball and Rub-Norng, as well as introducing new initiatives of our own.

With my leadership skills, dedication, and vision, I believe that I am a strong candidate for this role. I want to see UCL Thai Society continue to grow as a vibrant and inclusive community, and I am running for President to turn these goals into reality.
