Hey everyone!
My name is Timur - I'm a soon-to-be third-year Arts and Sciences student, and I just plain love quizzes.
At school, while my friends were representing their houses in the various sports they played, my (let's be frank, only) time to shine was in our yearly House Challenge tournament - I guess it could be described as University Challenge Lite. I'd mention my win streak but I'm far too humble and down-to-earth to brag.

None of that, however, is why I believe you should vote for me - especially since I've lost plenty of pub quizzes since then. I can only justify mentioning this all because it paints a picture of how much a good quiz means to me. There's nothing quite like getting to let loose your competitive side for a night, like having an answer on the tip of your tongue, like finding out just how much your friend knows about Robbie Williams' discography. It's a night of victory, even if you don't necessarily win, because a good quiz is all about the energy of the players, the teams, and everyone in the room - and sharing in that is really something special.
As your Quiz and Outreach Rep, I would get to do what I've always loved doing: promote quizzing for the joy that it is to the as yet uninitiated, to make sure that every quizzer is having the best time possible, and to be a friendly face at events every chance I get so I might see that through.
Do I have the heart of a hero and love for quizzes? Definitely. Do I have your vote? I hope so.
