Dzień dobry!
As a former tutor in Polish, I'm excited to be running for the second position of Language Officer as I would like to continue promoting learning Polish by creating further opportunities of language lessons, speaking clubs and cultural workshops!
My experience:
In my second year of uni, I led a weekly speaking club - where we would learn essential vocab from student-led topics and have conversations by the end of the lesson.
These weekly sessions also included learning language through films/shows/polish memes ;) we also had cultural outings to a Polish restaurant to practice ordering in Polish and becoming food critics after watching Pani Gessler🍽️
I have also led 1-on-1 speaking sessions with students of Polish - this was to practice conversing with a native speaker. We managed to cover topics that were of the student’s interest, such as songs, hobbies, interests, plans for the future or just simply going over grammar!
I loved seeing how much progress everyone made and how much fun we had doing it🥺 Whether you're just starting out or looking to polish your Polish🤭 I’d love to support you on your language journey.
