Hi, my name is Ian and I am an upcoming 2nd year pharmacy student.
After I have determined to study pharmacy, I started to get involved with a variety of charity/volunteering events.
During that process, I founded an NGO called ‘Pink Pledge’, dedicated to help breast cancer patients in Indonesia. As a leader, I planned and held a variety of fundraising events, such like bake sales and scavenger hunts. Throughout my years as a leader, our group got to fund a total of 20million Rp and donated them to a national breast cancer organisation in Indonesia called YKPI. With these experiences, I believe I could be a great help for our Medlife society. I’d love to plan and hold various fundraising activities that can engage multiple colleagues in UCL. I hope that I could become a useful hand to help those in need with our members.
Currently I have plans to plan events that engage not only baking/cooking but other talents our colleagues have including art & music. If you’re interested in my plans, please vote for me!!
