Hi everyone, I’m Amrit, and I would be honoured to be your next MedSoc President!

As your Pre-Clinical Education Chair this year, my goal has been to develop and improve MedSoc teaching. In this role, I created a scientifically evidence-based tutorial blueprint for your tutorials and ensured our member drive had up-to-date resources you can use for your exams!

Now, I ask for your support to continue improving MedSoc through:

Enhancing Education & Exam Support

  • Organise revision roundups and study groups, pairing students with mentors for year-round support. Run mock OSCEs and CPSA workshops throughout the year, not just before exams
  • Run a targeted exam prep series near summatives, focusing on high-yield content and exam-style questions

Building a Stronger & More Inclusive MedSoc

  • Increase student input with open forums, ensuring MedSoc reflects what you want
  • Strengthen wellbeing initiatives by creating peer-support groups, helping students integrate into medical school

Opportunities & Career Development

  • Provide networking opportunities with doctors and researchers, helping students connect with mentors in fields they’re passionate about
  • Organise workshops on public speaking, introductory coding for research, and systematic reviews.
  • Support and empower subcommittee chairs to ensure MedSoc runs smoothly and achieves bigger goals.

If my vision aligns with yours, I’d be grateful for your vote. Together, we can build a MedSoc that supports, inspires and uplifts each other!
