Medical Society: Obstetrics & Gynaecology Chair

I am excited to run as Co-Chair of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society. With one of us undertaking a Surgical Sciences iBSc and the other in Women’s Health, we aim to fuse both the clinical and surgical aspects of the specialty to create a well-rounded, inspiring society. We want to bring Obs & Gynae to life by building on previous year's initiative. We plan to continue the annual conference, interactive Q&A panels with international speakers, host tutorials and case-based seminars. The aim is to set a strong foundation for students considering the specialty so we also hope to introduce shadowing opportunities and hands-on workshops covering clinical scenarios, ethics, and fertility. Alongside academic events, we want to create networking opportunities through meet-and-greet socials. Most importantly, we are open to evolving based on what you as society members want.
