With my meticulous nature, I will ensure our projects run so smoothly that not even gun swan will need to threaten its existence every five seconds. I vow to protect these projects and care for them as if they were my own. Voting for me means GNCS world domination, one zine at a time.
But in all honesty: I’m highly organised. I’ve never pulled an all-nighter or missed a deadline, and I always submit at least 16 hours early. I like to plan for the future, keep things on track; making sure we finish what we started, and finish it well. I’m also flexible and am comfortable adapting to the changing needs of ad-hoc projects.
Previously, I was the Publications Director for the Hong Kong Joint School Society of Psychology, where I honed both organisational and creative skills to produce engaging content. I’m proficient in Canva, which I’ve used to design promotional material. While that work was in the context of psychology, the process of managing timelines, curating contributions, and designing layouts directly applies to creating a successful zine
I’m especially excited to help maintain the tradition of the yearly zine — and make it something we’re proud to look back on years from now. I love making sure others’ creative voices are heard and helping them bring their ideas to life.
