VOCE has allowed me to make amazing memories that will be on my heart for many years to come. In addition to this, I have also met such beautiful people through VOCE, and as President, I will work to ensure that VOCE grants you the same welcoming and positive experience I have had myself.
VOCE has been something I look forward to every week, particularly choir. I, for one, understand how important it is to have a community that nurtures talent. Placing God in the centre of it all has and forever will be an honour. Using our God-given talents to praise Him, the Giver, is truly a privilege. As VOCE President, I will strive to ensure that choir and band, the musical divisions of VOCE, continue to grow, thus providing one of multiple avenues for people to indulge in the amazing community that VOCE has to offer.
Alongside this, I also hope to encourage further fellowship through the continuation and growth of Bible Study. Previous roles I have held, such as the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassador and College Councillor, have enabled me to understand how to effectively communicate with others and foster a collaborative environment; I believe this will serve me well in my work with other members of the VOCE Committee, as well as society members. Furthermore, it has taught me the importance of having a leader that is ready to serve its society members and be a point of contact for all who may need it.
