Jacqueline Tam

Hiya! I am Jacqueline (or shiba online) and I am a first year studying Mechanical Engineering.

I have been competing in Valorant Game Changers for over 1.5 years and I have grown deeply passionate about the Esport scene. Having participated in NSE and NUEL (wnb too!), and also the ICL/RHUL/RU and KCL varisty games this year, I'd love to help grow the Esports scene here in UCLG by organising some tournaments, supporting the players and making it easier for more people to get involved. I'm especially keen on promoting diversity and creating a space where everyone feels welcomed, whether you are a seasonsed player or a newbie to the Esports scene. (:

ps I love cats :p

Ibsa Ahmed

Hi all! I'm Ibsa, and for the past year I've been your Game Admin for R6. I really love everything about playing games competitively. From stratting to scrimming, the more and more I fall into it, the more I want to stay in it. I can't think of a better opportunity to bring that love and joy to other people than being your Esports Officer for the 25/26 season. As someone that competed in this years Varsity events, I can really say it was the highlight of my year. I'm incredibly thankful for this years committee for making something like that possible, and would be grateful for the opportunity to help organise such events going forward.  Gaming Soc is one of  the largest societies at UCL for a reason -  we have a large collection of incredibly passionate people who want to play games. My role as a Game Admin has shown me how broad the community here is. I'm excited to take the next step in supporting this community and hope to make your competitive gaming experience even better in the year to come.

Aanchal Kumar

Hi again everyone, my name is Aanchal and I am a first year economics student and the current League of Legends Admin. Really enjoyed playing a role in the Varsity Tournament this year and hope to provide the same, if not better, experience for members next year.  I have organisational skills and  the games knowledge from participating in NSE and the persistence needed to organise an event! Previously, I have worked with external organisations (charities such as Walk the Walk, WWF, and Wildlife Aid Foundation) and have already made some connections with other universities.  Would greatly appreciate your vote!

Annie Wu

Hi, my name is Annie and I'm a first-year Biochemistry student! I’ve absolutely loved being in UCLG and taking part in both offline and online events. It’s been a great opportunity to make friends and improve my (previously limited!) gaming abilities, and I really hope to share these experiences with new members too.

I'm running for E-sports Officer because I want to take on a more hands-on role in the society. I aim to boost interest and improve organisation for both NSE and NUEL teams, and will act as a reliable liaison between game admins and our teams. Having previously worked on my EPQ, I’ve developed strong research skills—so I’ll be able to clearly and accurately relay information, keeping everyone up to date. My experience as a school prefect also shows that I’m someone who stays on top of responsibilities and can be counted on to stay organised, follow the NSE timeline, and track important information.

Most of all, I want to help increase UCL’s power in varsity—getting more people involved, building a strong, coordinated presence, and securing our place as the top gaming uni in London!

Thanks so much for taking the time to consider me—I hope you can trust me (or else)!
