Dear Members of the Financial Literacy Society,
I am excited to stand for the role of Partnership Officer because I care deeply about financial empowerment and believe in the importance of making financial education accessible, inclusive, and impactful. Growing up in India, I observed how financial decision-making often rested disproportionately in the hands of men, leaving many women excluded from conversations about money. These experiences shaped my understanding of financial literacy not just as a skill but as a form of agency.
My background combines academic research with practical experience in education and consulting. Through my previous roles, I’ve developed key skills in outreach, communication, and relationship-building. I’m confident in my ability to pitch initiatives, tailor collaboration strategies, and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders. I believe partnerships are not just transactional opportunities but powerful bridges that can support the society’s growth. If elected, I will prioritise creating meaningful, long-term collaborations that benefit our members and expand the society’s reach.
I look forward to supporting the society in building partnerships that help more students take control of their financial futures.
