Enactus Society: Welfare Officer

Dear Enactus Members,

My name is Cristina, and I am running for the position of Welfare Officer at Enactus UCL.

Since joining Enactus, I have come to see how unique the culture of the society is. It brings together people who genuinely care about creating social impact, and that shared mindset creates a strong sense of purpose and community. I want to contribute to that by helping ensure that every member feels welcomed, supported, and able to take part fully in what the society has to offer.

Through past roles in the UCL FinTech and Economics & Finance Societies, I have helped plan and deliver large-scale events and initiatives that engaged hundreds of students. This experience has strengthened my ability to create inclusive and engaging spaces, and I hope to bring this to Enactus by organising more community-focused socials and prioritising member wellbeing.

My Vision: 

• Organise Regular Socials: I plan to hold inclusive and varied events to help members build connections beyond project teams and feel a stronger sense of belonging within the society.

• Provide reliable support: I will be available to listen to any welfare concerns, provide support where appropriate, and signpost members to further resources when necessary.

• Encourage Inclusivity: I will encourage feedback, help shape a respectful and accessible environment, and ensure all members feel valued and heard.
