Classics Society: Welfare Officer

Hi I’m Polly, a second year classics student and I would love to be your choice for welfare officer next year! This small but ever-growing society has brought me many new friendships and has been very welcoming in both academic and social aspects. Having already been an outreach officer on this year’s committee, I believe I have the skills to work with the rest of the committee to create exciting events to welcome you all to our committee and bring everyone closer together. I look forward to meeting everyone in our beloved department common room but I will be aiming to create more events outside the common room! I wish to reassure those in the committee graduating this year that the society has been left in the capable hands of a team that is reliable and diligent and I will do my best to continue the amazing work they have done for our society.
