Hiya everyone, I'm Daniel, and I am standing to run for your 2025/2026 social secretary for UCL Barbell Club! I am excited to bring my enthusiasm to bring people together through our society, where we will strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for club members of all backgrounds and training experiences! I am interested in expanding the club through the increase of member engagement, as I am open to feedback and suggestions on socials, allowing for our events to cater towards all our members. I'm aiming to expand our club outreach and gain more presence in the wider TeamUCL community, through joint socials with other societies, as well as more themed nights, and options for those who prefer either drinking socials and sober events, allowing for those who are prioritizing training, or have upcoming competitions to freely participate, creating a well balanced social calendar. In addition, this club provides opportunities for fundraising events which I would like to develop this upcoming year, such as team challenge . I look forward to fostering new relations next academic year!
