Automotive Society: Welfare Secretary

Hi, My name is Peter and I am a current member of the automotive society. I’ve had a long standing interest in motorsport, particularly F1 and INDYCAR, ever since I was a child. 

I’ve greatly enjoyed taking part in the events run by the society this year, especially the quizzes and race viewings, and hope to be part of the committee to help future event meet the standard set by the outgoing committee.

Since this position remained open after the initial leadership race, I felt it would be a good opportunity to hopefully help keep the quality of the society by running this time around. I also feel I am particularly suited to this role due to undertaking similar positions in the past between school clubs and competition placements, being experienced in small team management and interpersonal relationships and communication through this experience.
