Rahul Kumar

Hi everyone! I’m Rahul and I have just finished my first year studying Computer Science. I’d love to be part of the ANZO Committee as the welfare officer for 2025-26.

Having grown up in both the UK and Australia, I’m well aware of how difficult it often is being away from friends and family when you’re halfway across the world. That’s why I want to help make ANZO a more welcoming and supportive space for everyone, whether you're newly adjusting to life in London or just looking to meet people with similar backgrounds.

As welfare officer, I’d organise regular check-in events, welfare walks, and socials where members can take a break and connect, especially during stressful times like exams. I’d also make it easier for people to reach out for support by creating open channels for anyone who might be struggling or just need someone to talk to.

ANZO hasn’t been the most active in recent years, and if elected, I’d love to work with the rest of the committee to build a more active, welcoming community that really represents all ANZO students at UCL.
