Arts for Mental Health Society: Communication Officer

Hey. I’m standing for Communications Officer because I’m really passionate about the connection between creativity and mental well-being, something ARTSMH captures perfectly. As a Psychology with Education student, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how we process emotions and how things like art can actually help us do that. I’ve also worked on research and design projects where I had to think about how to communicate complex ideas in simple, engaging ways. I’d love to bring that to ARTSMH, whether it’s making sure our events and updates are clear and fun to read, or helping grow our community through creative content. What I love about this society is that it’s more than just a creative outlet, it’s a space for people to slow down, reflect, and connect with others. I’d be excited to help shape that space and make sure people always feel included and inspired by what we’re doing.
