I’m running for Events Manager because I truly enjoy turning creative ideas into real, exciting experiences. There’s something so rewarding about watching people come together to enjoy a space that celebrates art in all its forms, whether that’s a chill showcase, an interactive workshop, or a full on performance night.
With my background in organising events like Chrysalis, I’ve learned how to balance creativity with coordination, managing logistics, planning ahead, and staying calm when things get a little chaotic. I want to bring that experience and enthusiasm to the Art Council and help shape events that are not only well organised but also genuinely fun and welcoming for everyone.
I’m someone who’s always up for a challenge, loves working in a team, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in, whether that’s brainstorming ideas, booking venues, or setting up chairs. I’m also really excited to support others’ ideas and help bring a variety of artistic visions to life.
If elected, I’ll make it my goal to create spaces where people feel inspired, included, and proud to share their work. Let’s make the next year full of creativity, collaboration, and a whole lot of unforgettable moments.
