I'm willing to squeeze every bit of creativity out of ACS, to leave you all feeling exhausted with all the hard work you've been putting in, but fulfilled with the physical reward of that hard work.
To bring creatives together. Inspiring events, meet ups, plays, music, interesting conversations and guest speakers, and simply a "hello" from a fellow creative to another. That's my goal.
People are so obsessed with being cool and demure. People are so encouraged to be minimalistic and reserved. And some people just don't have that much to say. But I want to reintroduce creativity as loud, unapologetic and collaborative expression. You have something to say? Say it! Don't hide under the guise of embarrassment or fear. You are all welcome here.
Show me your skills, your art, your voice, your talent, your thoughts, your opinions, your music, your clothes. Show me your ideas and experiences. Let your mind become a physical, palpable thing that we celebrate this year.
I want creatives that actually want to create. Speakers that actually want to speak. Musicians that actually want to make music. Artists that actually want to go home carrying a piece of art. I don't want a half-assed primary school art project. I want an explosion of boldness and colours.
So that when you're 30, you will still be thinking about that play, that piece, that podcast that you helped create in UCL ACS back in 2025.
