Dear UCLUNA members,

I'm excited to nominate myself for the position of First Year Representative. I may be new to MUN, but I bring fresh perspectives and a commitment to serving our society!

Allow me to highlight a few experiences that demonstrate my capabilities. As the founder of Musicate, a student organization promoting musical literacy, I successfully led my team in organizing engaging workshops and online concerts for underprivileged children in Hong Kong. Furthermore, as Chairperson of St. Paul's Ambulance, I optimized first-aid service provision during ten school events.

I aim to benefit both new and experienced members through the following: 

1. Inclusive Engagement

As a newcomer to MUN myself, I understand how helpless you may feel, struggling to understand all the complex jargon being a first-time delegate. I aim to organise MUN101 sessions for beginners, which will cover conference processes and technical terms.

2. Networking Opportunities

MUN is not just about debating; it is also about building connections. I hope to organise networking events, which will provide a platform for members to forge friendships, exchange ideas, and cultivate a sense of camaraderie in UCLUNA.

3. Collaborative Initiatives

I believe the power of 1+1>2. I will continue our work in collaboration with other societies, enabling us to organize joint events and initiatives.
