Keiron Fordham

Hi! My name is Keiron. I am motivated to commit to the role of communications officer and to dedicate my time and creative ability to promote and engage TSS social media followers to get more involved with our social media platforms and aim to promote events hosted by the TSS while providing fun and engaging activities on social media!

I’m willing to dedicate my time to improving social media engagement and effectively communicating TSS events on social media platforms. Also, I’m devoted to providing an engaging, positive social media environment by creating things such as quizzes, competitions, polls, and other activities to allow followers to participate and take future suggestions for activities to provide a welcoming community to all Taylor Swift fans, no matter how long they've been a fan. I aim to achieve this by providing content that can be accessible to all Taylor Swift fans while being fun and enjoyable!

An idea I have created is a themed art contest where you source the best Taylor Swift art! This allows members to send art and then a poll can be conducted so TSS members can vote on their favourites and the winner can be reposted and the possibility of a prize to provide motivation to participate in other activities. This is just a sample of one of the fun ideas I would have planned so I hope you'll vote for me because I will provide all the fun social media events you could ask for while making sure you get updates on all the amazing events the TSS has planned!

Minh Thien Mai

Hey Swifties, I could give you 3 reasons why I should be the one you choose!

1. I have had previous experiences with managing social media platforms and promote events. For example, I was head of the school’s publicity team in High School. The main role was to create poster and promote them via various platforms.

2. I am able to work collaboratively. I am also involved with a few other societies at UCL, which has also honed understanding of the structure and the importance of communication within a group.

3. I will be committed to the society! Having participated in a few events of the Taylor Swift Society before, I want to contribute more to the society as a whole. I will help to create a safe, fun and engaging environments for swifties at ucl!

Thank you!!

Capucine Pochon

Hi everyone, I’m Cap and I’m a third year Genetics student. I’ve been attending TSS events since the society was created and I would love the opportunity to be a part of it. I spend way too much time on social media so you can expect plenty of event coverage as well as some fun polls and stories! I love meeting new swifties and will always be there to help integrate new people into the society and answer any questions or issues you might have! Thank you for your consideration

PS: my favourite album is speak now, my favourite song is ivy, and my fav on midnights is bejeweled :)

Miriam Gordon

It's me, hi, Miriam Gordon, and I’m running to be your Taylor Swift Society Communications Officer! I remember going to the first TSS social at the Huntley in my RED cardigan and feeling the joy of being surrounded by other Swifties. Let me tell you why I think there's an invisible string tying your vote to me...

  • As the current marketing & publicity officer for the UCL food society, I've organised collaborations with restaurants to receive exclusive discounts, facilitate events and collaborations with other societies, and of course, mastered the art of Canva to update members on events!
  • Not only have I run social media for UCL food society, but I've done it for 5 years with my own food account so I know the importance of updating an account consistently and engaging with followers to ensure I can receive as much feedback as possible
  • Of course, and arguably most importantly, I've had a very long and enduring passion for Taylor Swift. I remember seeing her live when I was 8 years old on the Speak Now tour and my life hasn't been the same since. Joining the Taylor Swift Society was a fantastic experience for me because it gave me a community of people to spend my sleepless nights with, whether it be dancing past midnight to her songs or waking up at dawn to hear her new songs.

This is me trying to be your communications officer, and if you let me I'll make sure this year doesn't slip away into a moment of time if you vote for Miriam Gordon! :)
