Medical Society: Sports and Exercise Medicine Chair

I would like to run for this position because of my genuine interest and passion for Sports and Exercise Medicine (SEM). My background includes academic experiences such as the SEM iBSc, various research projects and conference presentations, and teaching at the UCL East Summer School, as well as personal involvement at a high-levels in sports like football, powerlifting, and CrossFit. My objective is to share my enthusiasm for SEM and enhance its accessibility. Currently, SEM is somewhat underrepresented in the MBBS curriculum. Therefore, I aim to establish an educational initiative that includes teaching, guest speaker sessions, and resource sharing to foster greater interest and understanding of SEM within the medical community.
